The Silver Chair: Film

Since 2010, I’ve waited and waited for the fourth ‘’Chronicles of Narnia’’ movie to be made: Which would’ve been an adaption of ‘’The Silver Chair’’.

I watched the BBC Narnia serials when I was little, and watched them again after watching the first film (2008)
While watching them again, ‘’The Silver Chair’’ was almost my favorite one. It was pretty, different from the past three, and was very… very, dark! However, I have not read the novel yet.

Sadly, even though ‘’The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe’’ (2005) was a major success, the follow movies ‘’Prince Caspian’’ (2008) and ‘’The Voyage of the Dawn Treader’’ (2010 were not as successful… in fact, they were overshadowed by other movies.
Caspian was up against ‘’Iron man’’ and the GOOD Indiana Jones 4 (I am serious, it was and is good!) And due to this, Disney let go of Walden Media’s deal, so they found help from Fox.
While the Viking boat.. sigh.. How should I put this… Two normal words that make up an evil name… ‘’Harry Potter’’’… (Dum Dum Duuuuuuuuuuuum!)

However despite money issues, the company intended to make more. But, in March of 2011, Walden revealed that the next film would be ‘’The Magician’s Nephew’’ , since doing the films in order might be the Titanic diving down. I do think Jim Carrey would make a great Uncle Andrew.
However, in October, Walden’s contract with the estate of Narnia author C.S. Lewis needed, and they can no longer make any. Of course, any studio has the right to make a movie, but it might not start until like 2018, and by then everyone would’ve grown up! So, in other words, it looks like the series will be rebooted.

I was so looking forward to this movie, and even though the first film in ‘’The Hobbit’’ series of films is out, it would’ve made a good film for 2012.

As a fan, I have thought up two or three characters for the film. One is a Centaur girl (centauress) with a white horse body, blondish/brownish hair who is really clumsy and almost useless (‘’If he is useless than why do we want him here!?’’) But she overcomes herself in the end.
Another is a giantess who decides to help the four heroes.
And then there is some cute… bunny… thingy. However, I didn’t put them on the poster. Just not enough room.

You have Jill Pole, Eustace Scrubb, Puddleglum (Who I just found out was played by Tom Baker, aka the fourth Doctor Who, in the BBC show), The Lady of the Green Kirtle, a dragon, a wolf, a giant, Rilian inside the chair, and Aslan the Great Lion!
Also, I won’t bore you about the art, but this is an edited picture. The normal pic isn’t dark, and there were never words.
