Happy first anniversary to the 2012 animated musical movie ‘’The Lorax’’, based off the Dr. Seuss book of the same name.
I really love the film and think it is the best animated film from Universal and one of the best movies based off the Seuss Books.
I will admit that the movie is flawed- some of the dialog is blaa and some of the characters are sadly rehashed stereotypes (love interest, greedy business man,) but they are still likeable.
Also, Happy 109th Birthday to the late Dr. Seuss/Theodore Ted Geisel.
The Lorax movie is owned by Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment.

This movie doesn't deserve an anniversary. Only the original children's literary classic does, that which this movie completely disrespects in attempting to adapt it to cinematic format, and completely overlooks the sublime artistic subtlety of its pure, untouched environmentalist message just to market its image for a crapload of money. This movie destroyed more trees than it tried to save.
