Star Wars Prequels: The Three Baddies

Description

The Star Wars movies made from the late 90s to the mid-2000s were great and fantastic for a number of reasons. One, or many of these reasons, are the sick sinister show-stealers; the villains. They all have their own story to tell and original point of view. However, the ones who stand out the most are the three poster boys for each of the three films. (Also, for those who have not seen any of the movies in the Star Wars Prequel-Trilogy, do not worry; for this contains no spoilers)

Darth Maul, from Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace (1999)

This apprentice of darkness is the literal poster-child of The Phantom Menace, mostly for his fearsome appearance and how we was slapped upon every piece of marketing released for the movie. He earned positive reception for his menacing mood, his skill with a double-bladed lightsaber, and for this theme-score, Duel of the Fates (which is to I-III what The Imperial March is to IV-VI). Also, for those who think his character was underdeveloped in the films, here is my response. Sure, but he doesn’t need any for his character is a matter we have known since childhood… FEAR! Pretty much, Darth Maul is the common nightmare in the flesh.

Jango Fett, from Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones (2002)

Both the Boba Fett of the prequels and the father of Boba Fett (and an countable amount of clones), this Mandalorian bounty-hunter is…. Sigh, forgive me for being generic and lazy…  AWESOME. Plus, his character isn't really a villain himself, but more of a complex person who’ll take any side who pay$ him the highest.

General Grievous, from Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (2005)

The way to describe him would probably compromise the plot for those of you who haven’t seen Star Wars. To sum it up in a careful way, he is an echo to what will happen to one of the main characters. However, his transformation left him with barley anything of his old self. He is a menacing villain, especially in both animated Clone Wars tv shows. However, unlike the first one, the second show started him out frightening, but he was played as too cowardly and easy to defeat.
