Description

Sometimes, some actors we like might be liked by us because of only one role that they did. I know Johnny Depp and Julie Andrews have performed uncountable great characters that almost everybody love, but sometimes two or three parts is what we know or choose to know someone for. For Canadian actor Mike Myers, who is known for Austin Powers or Wayne with a World, the case with me are two characters who are the only roles of his to appear in ‘’so-called’’ family films.

Shrek, from the animated Shrek films (Shrek-2001, Shrek 2-2004, Shrek the Third-2007, and Shrek Forever After-2010). I first was aware of him from either a TV Spot or the preview on the Chicken Run video. He liked the character and series once I saw them…. 2006 or less I think. I don’t know which of all four…. Except 3 that is, is the best but they are all good even with flaws of toilet humor and inappropriate adult jokes… sigh…. Well, the fourth film did clean up more and put more heart into the series. However, as a DreamWorks fan, some Shrek films are better than…, Antz and maybe even Bee Movie, maybe: But the company has made better films before and after the franchise.

The Cat, from the 2003 live action slapstick family comedy film Dr. Seuss’ The Cat in the Hat based off the 1957 book of the same name. to me, it is the childhood film I never saw: I was 8-9 in 2003, that is. Despite some unnecessary mature humor (which unfortunately can be funny sometimes), the film is an amazing, funny, and unforgettable adventure with some heart and some good morals. The Cat is a really funny character. Personally, I will say the book is better, but the book might be an encouragement for juvenile. Hey, life doesn’t really need to be taken over-serious, Jesus himself said people need to be like a child to enter into the kingdom of God, which also means having fun and laughing. However, the novel might be mistaken as saying yes to letting strange adults in and brainwashing kids. So, the book and the movie have their ups and downs. Oh, and I hope a family-friendly special edition is released on DVD/Blu-ray.

Art: I really cannot say how great this artwork is. Actually, I can. Of course, Shrek didn’t turn out that well and the propulsions might be off, but I think this is the best Cat I’ve ever drawn. Oh, is hat is also good, but still flawed.
