Jim Hawkins and Taran

Two very underrated and forgottom Disney characters…. They are… BOYS ..  Uh.. I should’ve not said it like that. I dislike when people say boys like it is negative, but the way I said it sounded like I had an affection for them, and… but, I am one… and I am straight…   Errrh, moving on… Hehe,, awkward.

James Jim Pleiades Hawkins (from 2002’s Treasure Planet)” A childhood favorite of mine, and one I appreciate as much and maybe more as an adult. Based off Robert Louis Stephenson’s “Treasure Island”, but set in space- this science-fiction voyage film is a great adventure for everyone.

Taran (from 1985’s The Black Cauldron): it is a cult film for me, although I probably would’ve appreciated it more if I saw it during childhood. Disney’s first animated feature to feature a PG-Rating, this fantasy journey Lloyd Alexander’s books “The Chronicles of Prydain” takes Disney to a darker and more mature basis without any musical numbers.
