Description
“Emmet Brickowski” (Chris Prat) is a minifigure and main protagonist of 2014’s “The LEGO Movie”.
Emmet is a regular person, and is often another face in the crowd. But, despite being “The Special” and stuff, I will tell you that I never actually seen a character quite like this before. Because of his plainness, and “his” plainness, he feels different from other plain characters. He is also a sweetheart, because he is so kind to people (for en example, a character… without spoiling much, loses something. So, he tries to cheer that character up with a double-decker couch). Speaking of the couch, his imagination is also somehow different from other characters. In fact, he seems more complex than a lot of banal characters from recent features in the animation medium. The only irritating part, is that he fanboys over the Stuper-Friends… I mean, the Just-Cash League…. Yeah, Warner is eager to rush & market their super-cinamatic universe.
Another aspect I forgot to mention is that Emmet is a construction worker. LEGOs are all about building, so having Emmet as a worker (with the reconcilable orange-and-blue jumpsuit) is like one of the most respectful nods to the LEGO product and name.
The art was done almost a week ago… i used reference, with an actual mini-figure.
