Unfortunately, I receive a lot of controversy on this website. Some is because of misunderstanding, another is because of my own sinful nature (and maybe well-deserving), but a lot of it is just plain ridiculous. One of these fragrant proclaims is the accussion of me being… RACIST! Huh?
This is due to the fact that I don’t support President Barack Obama, who is a black democrat. This troubling proclaim of me rose up again when I posted the comic about the Syria crisis. However, that also brought up questions/comments (or one) about the middle-Eastern people, most notably the Muslims. Quote – “Why do you put quotation marks around Saddam Hussein, Osama Bin Laden, and Iran? Is it because your Christian ways taught you to not treat Middle Easterners as people?”. For #1, I put quotation-marks around key people to the subject (mostly in film/character art. And #2, that is jumping to judgment without rational facts.
As you can see, this picture revolves around the issue of…. Christians (of Christianity, started by Jesus Christ and carried on by his disciples) and Islamic people (Islam, started by Mohammed). I will confess that I kind of fell into the Vs. feeling a time ago, I even liked the idea of Muslims being bad in an episode-arc of a crime show (N.C.I.S). However, that was my own choice and not instructions of from my elders. Everybody is a person, and we must love each other like Christ had loved us. “For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God”, “There is none who do good, not one”.
So, I plan to not be mean or bias against anybody. Unfortunately, I get irrational reactions because people jump-to-conclusion or miss-read the source. This picture hopefully will be a peace-offering as well as a common-sense showcase: because I am not racist.
Hopefully this calms commotion down. Of course, I am going to still get slap from people. “Oooh, these have nothing to do together”, ‘’HYPOCRIT”- “This is REVERSE RACISIM” and “TEAM JACOB!”
